Please be advised applications for the Semester 2, 2017 Adelaide Refugee & Humanitarian Scholarships are now open.
The University of Adelaide will award 100% tuition fee scholarships for students commencing undergraduate programs in Semester 2, 2017 who have not previously undertaken any University study in Australia.
To be eligible to be considered for an Adelaide Refugee & Humanitarian Scholarship, applicants must:
- gain admission to an undergraduate Bachelor's level program of study commencing in Semester 2, 2017 (i.e. hold a Letter of Offer, and meet any academic and English language proficiency conditions outlined in that Letter of Offer); and
- intend to enrol on a full time basis (unless there are special circumstances preventing this, such as disability); and
- be holders of a Bridging Visa E (BVE) or Temporary Protection Visa (subclass 785) or Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (SHEV)
If required, applicants will be ranked by academic achievement and preference will be given to South Australian residents.
In addition to the 100% tuition fee scholarship Adelaide Refugee & Humanitarian Scholarship recipients will also receive $2,500 per annum, paid in two (2) instalments in April and September for the duration of their studies, up to a maximum of four (4) years.
