Carers SA is currently seeking the opinion of students who may be considering undertaking student placements or internships as part of, or in conjunction with their educational studies. 

We wish to incorporate student input into opportunities we can offer to students, and align student interests and study requirements with organisational needs and desired outcomes.

This survey generically uses the term student placement. For the purpose of this survey this includes:
  • A student internship - which is an opportunity offered by an employer to potential employees, called interns, to volunteer with Carers SA for a fixed, limited period of time. This often involves a particular task or project. 
  • A Student placement - where students volunteer with Carers SA for a fixed period of time on projects or work engagement that qualify for course credit and provide relevant professional experience. 
  • Project Volunteer - where a student can gain professional experience as a volunteer who supports Carers SA on a project. This project may be initiated by Carers SA or may be based on a specific ideas put forward by a student.

Carers SA is interested in co-designing projects with students that support professional development and outcomes.
