The Hult Prize has created strategic partnerships and a global network of mentors, advisers and consultants to fulfill its mission. It is the Worlds largest Student Competition for social good. Amongst our key partners is the Former US President Bill Clinton.
The Hult Prize is an exceptional example of how young people from all around the world have come together to build solutions that aim to solve some of the worlds most difficult challenges. Previous enterprises developed through the Hult Prize program have found innovative ways to enhance food security, educate children and care for chronic diseases. This year we are tackling the issue of crowded urban spaces. This competition is to help raise ideas and passion within students to help the 1 billion people living in urban poverty to generate income.
The Hult Prize is a part of the Clinton Initiative therefore it is not only a forum/ competition to bring ideas and enthusiasm for helping solve problems of the world but also can help students reach and meet multiple influential people of the world. For example, Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus, Sir Richard Branson and many more.
How to get involved
The Hult Prize @ University of Adelaide competition is taking place in mid December which will require students (undergraduate/ Postgraduate/ PHD/ alumni) to be in teams of 3-4 people to come up with ideas to solve this years issue of Crowded urban spaces, proposed by former president of the United States, Bill Clinton.

What are the benefits?
This opportunity allows you to be a part of a rising movement around the world of Social Entrepreneurship which at the University of Adelaide will provide you with opportunities to meet and work with many influential people (who may be your mentors) both from within the state and from around the world. You can also network with peers who have the same interests as you and who are as motivated and driven as you. We provide participants with workshops, allowing for you to expand your ideas and receive guidance so the teams will not feel lost. Previous contestants have said that the Hult Prize gives them a further boost in recommendation in their resumes which really distinguish them from other applicants.
The winner of this competition will get to compete in the world stage which may fund their idea into a business venture/ start-up with funding of 1 million US dollars.
