Applications extended for the 2015 Aurora Indigenous Scholars International Study Tour
Applications will now close at 5pm (AEST), Friday 5 June 2015
Are you an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student or graduate interested in postgraduate study overseas?
Why not apply for the Aurora Study Tour?
The Study Tour takes place in October and November of each year, taking Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander university students and graduates to visit leading universities in the UK and US.
If you are contemplating postgraduate study overseas, the Study Tour provides an invaluable opportunity to travel with a group of like-minded students, visit universities and meet with academics, administrators and current postgraduate students in your area of interest. The Study Tour is a great introduction to life as a postgraduate student at some of the world’s leading universities. Moreover, taking part in the Study Tour will help to equip you with the knowledge and insights to prepare a successful application - 25 of the participants from the last 4 Study Tours have been accepted into the universities visited.
Who can apply?
If you are a scholar of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent who has graduated or completed at least 2 years of your undergraduate degree, achieved strong academic results and would like to pursue postgraduate study at one of the world’s leading universities, we would love to hear from you!

Previous Participants reflections:
“I am eternally grateful for the Study Tour experience! I truly think it was the most pivotal academic experience I have had. For the first time, I have been able to envisage culture, engineering and my personal values aligning. I told a friend it felt like cramming 5 years of development into 5 weeks; both motivating and challenging.” Judd Harris, Curtin University.
